Recommended Settings¶

To get the most out of Tonn, we have some setting recommendations for certain musical styles.

Hip Hop/Grime or Electronic Music¶

We have found that if you're trying to mix a track where the kick drum and/or snare drum are very important. We suggest you don't mix them as part of the DRUM_GROUP stem. You can set them to be part of the KICK_GROUP or the SNARE_GROUP. We suggest you create all the other stems first, mix them together similarly to how you would in the second tutorial. Then as a final extra step mix your "final" mix after step 5 with your kick and snare track, but also specify that the kick and/or snare are lead instruments.
